Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

I absolutely LOVE the Octopus Charcoal print overbust corset!! The fabric is soft and smooth, lightweight. The color is beautiful purplish, and the octopus print is gorgeous. I plan to wear this in spring and summer. Well done, CS!

It's beautiful! OK, first I do not wear corsets all the time. so my natural dimensions are still very much in play: 37-31-38. with a 1in down/up variation depending on my recent eating habits. I ordered the Charcoal Ink Octopus print Longline Overbust corset in size UK14. LOVE IT. I wanted a long line corset that would start at the smallest size I will be lacing to, with room to loosen on food party nights. I have a longer torso so the height of the bust actually makes it up over the girls and the bottom hem sits just above my rump. It's interior fabric is a thick solid cotton, so no worries about ripping/tearing/stretching. There are hidden loops for garter straps and bra straps, or other accessories. The grommet holes are nice and flush with no spurs so no lacing material is going to catch and frey. The attached modesty panel is a wopping 8in wide, allowing loads of room to "expand". The sewing is solid, no loose threads hanging out, no odd lumps or seam distortions, no puckering of fabric.
The only thing to watch for is don't try to close the front busks without loosening the lacing. For any corset, you risk bending the busks that way. These are pretty sturdy, but the metal is still soft enough to bend so watch it and handle your piece of art with care.
