Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

This is a brand new addition to the Corset Story catalogue and part of our ever-increasing Instant Shape range. This black overbust corset featuring a court neck and sleeves is finished with a delightful and intricate brocade pattern which demands to be shown off at any opportunity. This corset - as with all of our Instant Shape garments - is spiral steel boned but still incredibly lightweight. This allows complete freedom of movement, yet still offering a small waist reduction of 1-2 inches - enough to drop a dress size in seconds and is a perfect 'starter' corset. Beautiful corset! I wore it with my pirate costume and got SO MANY compliments. My only complaint is the shoulder bands were too tight around my biceps and the material itself irritated my armpits and gave me a rash [but I have very sensitive skin]
