Disguise rating

Statement designs made to be seen. These corsets are often used as costumes with theatrical design features including dramatic hip panels, neckpieces, steampunk latch clips, and shoulder accessories. It's unlikely you'll find a way of disguising these styles but why would you want to? Comfortable & breathable, Suitable for wearing all day.

Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

Beautiful and well made. Only issue is that my torso is a little short for it, and I have to loosen it all the way in order to squeeze into it.

The corset is lovely, and feels very well-made, but it's not for curvy, short-waisted people.

The amount my waist nips in combined with how short my torso is had the effect of forcing the boning in this corset into flared U shapes with too much tension to pull the ends back in, imagine inside-out parentheses: )(

I've never experienced this before, and no amount of adjusting the lacing, even with assistance, allowed me to get the top and bottom edges to flex back in, at least as long as the middle was still touching my waist.
The flare-out of the bottom edge could conceivably be disguised by wearing a full skirt under it, but not the top edge.

That being said, customer service is amazing, and it was no trouble to exchange this corset for another one. And I also want to note that my sister, who doesn't share my short waist, also got this corset and it fits her amazingly.
