Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

Great corset to start out with! Very supportive, excellent fabric, well-made. Could easily be worn on its' own with a cute skirt or pants for a night out or as an undergarment to replace an uncomfortable bra and help with posture.

I ordered four corsets in 2 different sizes in over-bust styles.
The recommended size is too large, the bust area is very “gappy” and it chafes the insides of my upper arms. Nothing wrong with the corsets itself it just doesn’t fit me right. I cannot lace it any tighter because the panels are already tight together. One corset has a zipper and boy is that one soo much easier to work with except I wish the zipper ran from top to bottom!
The smaller sizes fit fine, I just need to practice the lacing technique. I bought 4 for 1 so to send them back is a daunting task since I waited over 2 months to finally have them delivered.
If I knew of a brick and mortar store nearby I would prefer to have them try on before buying.
Corsets look only good with a loose fitting blouse over it, at least the ones I got, because the boning shows through the fabric of the garment worn over it. Or a heavy dress. My corsets were skin colored , blue, black and pink. So now we are thinking period costume. I like the feel of a corset and was hoping never having to wear a bra again but my clothing style in my closet does not fit corset wear. Too bad, I had high hopes.
