Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

I get that its supposed to be tight, since thats the whole point of a corset, but even trying to get the first row of hooks hooked is difficult unless I reallllly suck in my stomach. However, after getting it on it is really comfortable and easy to move around in.

The corset was well made, though less flattering to look at on its own. it is very much utilitarian shareware, rather than pretty. The boning is very sturdy, and supported me well. I would recommend either reenforcing or being very careful with the hook and eye closure, as that seemed to be the most frail point. (One hook and eye came to me already bent out of place) It ran completely true to size, and wore well under my clothing.

I was very excited about this order, and I ordered one for a 27-28” natural waist ( I have a 26.5in natural waist) to be safe and the corset still did not fit me at ALL. It was WAY too small, I could not even get it fastened to the first hooks.
